[Brussels, 15 February 2013] “No woman in this world should have to cry. No woman in this world should have to die!” On the tune "Rise Up, Stand Up!" more than 800 people gathered yesterday in Brussels, Place de la Monnaie, for One Billion Rising.

[Brussels, 08 February 2013] The Hungarian Women’s Lobby and its member associations, activists and volunteers are organizing the event “One Billion Rising Budapest”: joining a worldwide campaign, they participate to draw attention to violence against women and girls through dancing.

[Brussels, 8 February 2013] The European Women’s Lobby has organised several rehearsal sessions for the Flash mob on "Rise Up, Stand Up!". On 14 February at 17:30 in Place de la Monnaie (Brussels) we will be dancing to say NO to violence against women, together with people in 193 countries in the world! [Brussels, 21 January 2013] One Billion Rising reaches the Czech Republic! On 14 February Prague will also rise together with one billion others! The Czech Women’s Lobby is organising a flash mob in the city centre, in front of the National Museum on Wenceslas Square, at 17 o’clock.
