    [La Valletta, Malta, 24 January 2018] On January 24th, the Maltese parliament voted to pass the Gender Based Violence and Domestic Violence Bill No. 14. The Malta Confederation of Women’s Organisations (MCWO) has strongly welcomed this initiative as a step ahead in the prevention of violence against women and girls and the protection of their victims.
