Caitlin Raph - Membership Officer

Caitlin joined the team at the European Women’s Lobby as a Membership Officer in April 2023. As a Membership Officer, Caitlin supports the implementation of the Membership Engagement Strategy and develops internal communication tools to amplify the voices of EWL members.

Caitlin’s academic background includes a Bachelors in International Development and Social Change, and two Masters Degrees, one in Public Administration and another in Human Rights and Politics. During these programs, Caitlin built her experience through internships at the United Somali Women of Maine, a community health-based non-profit called Common Pathways, and through a service-learning program in Capetown, South Africa.

Following her passion for social justice, Caitlin worked for two years as a case-manager assisting youth experiencing homelessness access community resources. Later, following her passion for travel, Caitlin worked in the Czech Republic for three years as a language instructor working with youth from many different countries and backgrounds.

Most recently, Caitlin worked as Policy Assistant at a member-based social services-focused organization, Eurodiaconia, in Brussels. She was responsible for engaging with members on topics such as homelessness and access to employment. After, Caitlin completed her Bluebook Traineeship at the European Commission in DG Employment joining the Unit working on social and inclusive entrepreneurship.
