    New Study: Impact of Pornography on Sexual Violence

    Sexual violence continues to be one of the most widespread and usually invisible forms of violence. According to the most recent data from the Ministry of the Interior between 2015 and 2021, the number of reported incidents of sexual violence in Spain has almost doubled, from 9,869 in 2015 to 9,869 in 2021.

  • Abortion in the French Constitution: Another Step Forward

    [Paris, 28 February 2024] Today is a historic day: the French Senate has just voted in favour of introducing abortion into the French Constitution. The text was adopted with 267 votes in favour, and 50 votes against.
    The French coordination for the European Women’s Lobby (La CLEF) congratulates the Senate on its vote. A vote that brings hope to all women in Poland, Hungary, the United States and everywhere else where our right to control our own bodies is denied by conservative ideas.

    Soroptimist International of Europe (SIE), a member of the European Women’s Lobby, published a report titled "Women in War Zones" to reflect on its members activities and accomplishments in aiding women and children affected by the war in Ukraine.

    The Swedish Women’s Organisation together with the #intedinhora organisation and the support of the Brussels’ Call, the European Women’s Lobby and CAP International are launching the EUquality Model Now campaign against prostitution and human trafficking in Europe.
