Anna Zobnina

Anna Zobnina was elected as EWL Board Member, representing the European Network of Migrant Women (ENOMW) in June 2018, when she also joined EWL’s Executive Committee. Anna, born in St Petersburg, Russia, has over 10 years of experience of intersectional feminist analysis of violence & discrimination against women, with focus on migrant women. She is the Policy Coordinator of ENOMW and was previously its chair. She is also a Research Analyst with the Mediterranean Institute of Gender Studies. Her goal within the feminist movement is to restore justice to and prioritise the most marginalised women, such as migrant, refugee, ethnic minority women, women affected by prostitution, poverty and multiple forms of patriarchal violence, and to build solidarity between different ethnic, economic and generational strata of the movement.
