[Brussels, 6 June 2014] Yesterday, the G7 - Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, the United States, the President of the European Council and the President of the European Commission - met in Brussels to discuss global issues, and delivered a declaration in which they state their positions on several international issues. EWL welcomes Council Conclusions calling for European action to end violence against women

Ministers reaffirm EU commitment to gender equality and women’s empowerment in development action
