Konstantina Vardaramatou - Secretary General
Konstantina (Dina) is Secretary General at the European Women’s Lobby. She is responsible for providing overall leadership, administrative leadership and management of the organisation. She works to ensure that EWL’s members participate and engage in our collective work for a Feminist Europe through our governance structures, working groups, campaigns and lobbying. Dina also represents EWL’s vision and work to external partners and decision makers at UN, EU and civil society level.
Dina joined EWL as Secretary General in October 2021 with extensive experience working on the issues of gender-based violence, trafficking, social and economic exclusion, human rights and peace. She has been active in several organisations over the years, including as a member of a Taskforce against trafficking in Greece, a member of the Committee of Civil Society Representatives to the Greek Ministry of Health and Social Solidarity, and a Project Coordinator at the Centre for Research and Action on Peace. Dina was also a CEO and then Board member of an NGO Polyclinic aimed at eradicating social and economic exclusion, and a member of the European Anti-Poverty Network.
Dina enjoys cooking and eating with friends; scuba diving; getting to know people, cities, music, museums, reading, and watching a good film or series. She is fond of equity and justice for all. Dina loves humour, smiling faces, milky coffee and Bach with whom she shares her birthday.
