Linda Schang, Vice President
Linda Schang is Vice President of the European Women’s Lobby since 2021. She has been a member of the EWL Board since 2018, representing the national coordination of Sweden, the Swedish Women’s Lobby. She was elected to the EWL Executive Committee in 2021. She has been a member of the Board of the Swedish Women’s Lobby since 2016, and continues there. She is also a Soroptimist since 1995, and was one of the founders of, and a teacher at, a Soroptimist Nordic Leadership Academy for young women in 2017. Her career has been as a Human Resources professional with wide experience in recruitment, organisational development, and leadership. As a Human Resources Director, she was employed by Ericsson AB for 15 years. Before retirement from Ericsson, she was responsible for global recruitment and development of potential future leadership for the company. Since retirement she works as an independent consultant, mainly as a coach and mentor to female managers. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) Degree in European Studies and has further studied Industrial Psychology at Stockholm University.
