European Women’s Lobby rejects any attempt to backtrack on women’s and girls safety in Poland
[Brussels, 28 July 2020] The European Women’s Lobby is deeply concerned and appalled by the recent initiatives in Poland considering withdrawal from the Council of Europe Convention on preventing and combating violence against women and domestic violence, also known as the Istanbul Convention.
