Rachael Stockdale - Digital Knowledge Management Intern


Rachael Stockdale is an intern working on Digital Knowledge Management at EWL. An Irish feminist, Rachael holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Modern Languages, and is currently working on a PhD on queer women’s voices from 19th century literature at Queen’s University Belfast.

Rachael was recently involved in "Let Us Eat Cake" a study of LGBTQ identity in Northern Ireland, as part of ‘LGBTQ Visions of Peace in a Society Emerging from Conflict’ a project funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) and the Partnership for Conflict, Crime and Security Research (PaCCS).

The first ever Postgraduate Rep in QUB LGBTQ+ Society, Rachael campaigns for various issues at home and abroad. She feels particularly strongly about reproductive rights, LGBTQ rights and mental health in Northern Ireland.
