[Brussels, 2 August 2018] The European Women’s Lobby is looking for an Administration and Finance Assistant for its Secretariat in Brussels!

The European Women’s Lobby (EWL) is the largest umbrella organisation of women’s associations in the European Union, gathering over 2000 women’s associations. The EWL has members in all 28 EU Member States and 3 of the candidate countries as well as 19 European wide members. The EWL campaigns for a feminist Europe, which promotes women’s rights and equality between women and men in the European Union.

We are recruiting a reliable and well organised Administration and Finance Assistant to ensure the smooth running and administration of the Secretariat of the European Women’s Lobby. The Administration and Finance Assistant will provide administrative support for the office, finance and human resources management. It requires a person with prior experience in office and finance administration and a willingness to grow and learn. This is a new position expanding this dynamic and growing organisation’s capacity to respond to increasing needs for administrative support.

As an intersectional feminist organisation, we are seeking to build an organisation that represents Europe in all of its diversity. As such, people/women of colour and from ethnic minority groups, people with disabilities, people from the LGBTQI community and people coming from marginalised groups are especially encouraged to apply.

The specific tasks, as described in the Role Profile, will be carried out in the EWL Secretariat in Brussels under the supervision of EWL’s Office Manager.

Interviews of shortlisted candidates will be held during the week of 17 September 2018. Interviews through Skype are possible for candidates who are not able to come to Brussels in person. The ideal candidate must have the right to work in Belgium and should be able to start as soon as possible.
