EU Anti-Trafficking Coordinator Myria Vassiliadou actively supports One Billion Rising.
On the 12th February 2014,EU Anti-Trafficking Coordinator Myria Vassiliadou expressed her support to One Billion Rising Campaign by participating to the event in the European Parliament co-organized by the European Women’s Lobby (EWL) and MEP Isabelle Durant.
In this occasion, Myria Vassiliadou signed the EWL’s banner calling for justice to end violence against women and girls. She personally signed our petition demanding 2016 to be the European Year to End Violence Against Women.
She also recorded a video message at the initiative of MEP Mariya Gabriel in the framework of One Billion Rising for Justice 2014 events organised in Sofia (Bulgaria) on 14th February.
