In 2007, the EWL was at the forefront of the
public policy debate in relation to the legal
protection of women against discrimination.
The EWL was particularly active in the
framework of the European Year on Equal
Opportunities for All and in the emerging
debate on flexicurity. For those issues and
many others, the EWL was in active dialogue
with the European Commission and
other European decision-makers.
