WeStart Conference: Registration and Programme

[Brussels, 22 July 2015] On 11 September 2015 the European Women’s Lobby and the Economic and Social Committee will organise the WEstart: Women Social Entrepreneurs Changing Europe Conference to present the findings of the European Women Lobby’s ground-breaking pilot research project WEstart: Mapping Women’s Social Entrepreneurship in Europe.

The event will aim to increase the visibility of women’s social entrepreneurship in Europe by presenting new evidence and best practices, and facilitating dialogue between EU policy makers and key stakeholders, including national ministers, experts and academics, funders and banks, intermediary organisations, and women social entrepreneurs themselves.

The unique format of the event will feature a participatory working session in which audience members will collaborate to provide concrete solutions and recommendations directly to a panel of policy makers.
