Call for applications: EWL internship - socio-economic policies - March to June 2014

[Brussels, 6 February 2014] The current call concerns an internship within academic programmes, to work on socio-economic policies within the EWL Secretariat in Brussels, from March to June 2014.

The internship will most probably be unpaid, but this is to be confirmed. This is why we ask for the following conditions to be fulfilled.

The conditions are the following:

  • Be a student
  • Duration of 4 months
  • Convention with a school / university (required by Belgian law)
  • Some knowledge of women’s rights and gender equality issues, of European Union policies and institutions, and of socio-economic policies
  • For persons who are not nationals of countries of the EU and European Economic Area (and for Romanian and Bulgarian nationals, where a work permit is still necessary until 2014), except for those who are studying in Belgium, have a valid work permit in Belgium (requirement of Belgian legislation).
